Beginner's Guide to Lash Extensions

Lash extension work is a skill built on correct repetition, not speed. Before you touch a tweezer, make sure your station is well lit and humidity sits between 45% and 65% — adhesive reacts directly to moisture.

Start by cleansing the natural lashes with an oil-free shampoo, then dry them completely. Any residue of oil or makeup can cut retention by up to 50%.

Isolate one natural lash at a time. Proper isolation is the real line between professional work and painful stickies for your client.

Leave a 0.5mm gap between the extension base and the eyelid, and never dip more than 1–2mm of the base into adhesive.
